Contempora is a monthly podcast I began producing in January, 2013. It is for enthusiasts, performers and composers of contemporary classical music. Each half-hour episode features an exciting new piece of classical music and an interview with the composer about the work. Episodes below.

GMF Podcast Series

I've recorded dozens of podcasts for the German Marshall Fund. Below is an interview I conducted with former U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Lee Feinstein, as the crisis in Ukraine was unfolding.

WDAV Student Tour

On July 6th, 2012, a group of students visited WDAV for a tour of the station and a performance by 14-year-old pianist Michael Muchane. I interviewed several of the students, including Michael, and recorded his performance, then produced this audio piece for on-air and web promotion. It was also presented to the WDAV Advisory Board on September 12th, 2012.

Brodt Music Company

On August 23rd, 2012, I visited Charlotte, NC's Brodt Music Company to interview owner Lee Northcutt for WDAV about the store's 78 year life and imminent closure. I also recorded and mixed the interview and it aired on Classical Public Radio on October 25th and 27th

Spoleto Festival USA

In June, 2012, I visited the Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, SC to record interviews and take photos and video for the production and promotion of the nationally syndicated radio program SummerStages. My Content can also be found on the program's website, which I managed for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

A short, mouth-watering montage I created about musicians' favorite food spots in Charleston from the interviews I recorded with host Matt Rogers.
